The master of showman magician and Actor Ricky Jay is dead at 72 years

‘Boogie Nights’ Star Ricky Jay is dead, Ricky died on Saturday morning at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 72 years. He died a natural death according to his family. Mickey Jay death was confirmed by Winston Simone who was his manager.

Ricky was a man of many talents; he was an actor, the master showman magician, special effect consultant, and an author. Jay had a thing with the crowd and when he had a show the hall was always full. He had skills that left his audience astonished. Some of His special skills included hitting a target 190 feet away with a single playing card, aiming multiple playing card at a fresh watermelon and piercing his fresh time after time.

For those who had little knowledge and interest in magic, they had a chance to see Mr. Ricky Jay on television as an actor. Some of the movies he had a role in including “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997), the James Bond film (Starring Pierce Brosnan) where he played as a cyber-terrorist and in “Boogie Nights” (1997) as a porn-film camera operator. He narrated 1999 anthology film ” Magnolia” which had some of the best actors in Hollywood such as Tom Cruise, Jason Robards and many more. Ricky played the role of Eddie Sawyer in the HBO’s Dark series “Deadwood”.
