The newly appointed white house chief of staff Mike Mulvaney has found himself in controversy after footage of him calling the current United States a terrible human being during the 2016 presidential election campaign. This was recorded a few days before the 2016 presidential elections in a debate in York, South Carolina.
Mike Mulvaney who is currently working as the director of the office of management and Budget (OMB) said that during a debate on the right candidate for the presidency. He said, “Yes, I am supporting Donald Trump but I’m doing so as enthusiastically as I can, even the fact that I think he’s a terrible human being, but the choice on the other side is just as bad,”. He also describes Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump presidential rally as two of the most flawed human beings running for the presidential seat in United State history.
After his appointment on Friday, Mike Mulvaneys had a totally different comment on Donald Trump and the team. He tweeted “This is a tremendous honor. I look forward to working with the President and the entire team. It’s going to be a great 2019!” He will remain head of OMB while he serves as the new chief of staff in the white house. In a statement by the OMB spokeswoman, he regarded the remarks as old news.
This is what Donald Trump had to say on his appointment “I look forward to working with him in this new capacity as we continue to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
